What will you be doing during this internship?
During this internship of 4 to 6 (or more) months you will work in the Sanoma Learning Communications team. You will support Christel (Communications Director), Linda (project manager communications) and Esther (Online Communications Specialist) and the change communications managers Emma and David in their internal and external communications activities with an emphasis on online communication: developing new content by writing news items for the intranet and our newsletter, collecting and sharing inspirational stories from the organisation, managing the social media and much more.
In addition, as a Corporate Communications intern, you will be able to participate in various projects, (online) events (have you seen our Share Views Week on our socials, for example?) and you will learn everything about working in an international organisation. You will be directly coached by the Communications team members and have the opportunity to learn a lot in a short period of time!
We have a hybrid way of working, which means we sometimes work at the office and most of the time online. Teams helps us to still stay in close contact and collaborate together. Your days in our team will never be the same and there is always something to learn and to develop your skills.
What will you be working on:
- Help organize various online/hybrid international events in the area of wellbeing (yoga sessions, Walk Challenge, webinars, podcast)
- Support further intranet developments
- Offer support to our colleagues in the local learning companies
- Share the stories from our organization on our intranet, newsletter and social media channels
- Support in the various (change) projects within the organisation
- Bring your creative and innovative ideas to our communications initiatives
The skills for a successful internship
We are looking for a trainee who is enthusiastic, driven and eager to learn. You love to write and have a passion for online communication. You work well independently and are a real organsational talent. You connect easily and get energy from the international dynamics of our company. The main working language in our communications is English.
