With a background in teaching and a love for marketing, Natalia Żywicka has built a career that combines creativity with purpose. Today, as Business Manager for the Exam Preparation segment, she plays a key role in delivering high-quality resources that help students and teachers reach their full potential.

A Career built on curiosity and growth

Natalia Żywicka has been part of Nowa Era for 15 years, and her journey is a story of growth, curiosity, and passion for education. Today, she leads the Exam Preparation segment as Business Manager, but her career started in a very different place — as an assistant in the Marketing Department.

Over the years, Natalia embraced new challenges and evolved through several roles, from marketing manager in Foreign Language and New Business Departments to managing the National Geographic Learning portfolio. Each step brought fresh opportunities to learn and innovate, and her love for marketing — with its creativity and strategic thinking — has remained a constant source of motivation.

Her path to Nowa Era was a mix of coincidence and professional fit. After graduating, Natalia worked as a teacher in a public school, a role she found deeply rewarding. When a former university professor encouraged her to apply for an assistant position at Nowa Era, she took the leap — and never looked back.

Passion for purpose

What keeps her inspired today is the impact of her work. “I’m proud that our high-quality offer shapes today’s students into tomorrow’s global citizens,” she says. “In a small way, we’re making the world a better place.” This sense of purpose aligns perfectly with Sanoma Learning’s mission to help students and teachers reach their full potential.

For Natalia, the best part of working at Sanoma Learning is the people: competent, passionate professionals who inspire and support each other. As a mother of two preschool-aged boys, she also values the flexibility that allows her to balance work and family life. “Flexible working hours and a supportive manager make all the difference,” she notes.

Continuous development has been another hallmark of her career. Natalia has completed two postgraduate studies, earned multiple certifications, and participated in internal projects that expanded her skills. Her guiding principle? “Where there’s a will, there’s a way. With determination, creativity, and teamwork, every challenge can turn into an opportunity.”

A fun fact

Outside of work, Natalia has a surprising passion: handball. She has played for over 30 years, and even after retiring from the national league, she continues to compete in Masters tournaments and championships.
