We are excited to share that Speech Coach has been launched in Finland! Our AI-powered speech coach aims to help students improve their speaking skills in foreign languages. With Speech Coach, students can practice at their own pace and get valuable feedback. Available for upper secondary English students using Sanoma Pro’s Elements method, the solution is pedagogy-driven and integrates seamlessly with our materials. 
Speech Coach is part of our commitment to supporting language learning. At Sanoma Learning, we have been exploring and testing various AI-powered solutions to help students and teachers practice language skills more effectively. The exercises are always connected to the main learning material - matching the vocabulary, theme and learning level of the given topic – in this case, the Elements book for upper secondary English students.

What does it mean in practice?
We’ve introduced two new AI-assisted exercise types in Kampus, Sanoma Pro’s digital learning platform, designed to help students practice speaking independently and at their own pace. These exercises use artificial intelligence to adapt to each learner’s skill level and provide instant feedback on pronunciation—supporting more personalized learning experiences.
The new exercise types include:
- AI-assisted pronunciation exercises, where students practice selected words and short phrases, receiving immediate feedback on their pronunciation.
- AI-assisted conversation exercises, where students engage in topic-based dialogues with AI acting as their conversation partner.
These additions reflect our commitment to integrating smart, pedagogically sound tools into our platforms to better support both learners and educators.
